We had Active Week in school last week and our students enjoyed a wealth of activities. Active Week kicked off with a Saturday afternoon Family Fun Day that was organised by the Parent’s Association. Our activities during the week included Wake Up Shake Up, circuits, gymnastics, races, orienteering, an active school tour in Active Kingdom, standing desks, swimming, Active Walkway challenges, Active Homework, a whole school Dance Take Over doing The Sid Shuffle from Ice Age, student vs teachers basketball and Gaelic football matches. The teachers also ran in both the 10km and Half Marathon events in Run Killarney. Well done to everyone involved!
