As part of our Active School initiative, pupils from Two Mile Community National School have been on a virtual journey to Paris over the past few weeks. Our pupils got to do a variety of active breaks with some of our top Irish Olympians as they prepare for the Olympics in Paris this summer.
Each day we logged in any physical activity that we engaged in. We logged activities such as swimming, running, walking, playing games and much more. We began our virtual journey in Dublin. Every time we logged our physical activity, we progressed along our virtual journey to Paris. We passed through Belfast, Galway and Limerick and got some brilliant advice from Irish Olympians Kellie Harrington, Harry McNulty, Sarah Lavin, Rhys McClenaghan and Aifric Keogh. We celebrated our arrival in Paris with some well earned French delicacies!
